New Trends I like!

Now these trends below I can definitely get on board with.  New metals are gonna be trending because the standard steel looks are getting tiresome for most.  Expect a blast of new finishes to invade the market!

So, I get updates from other designers about what is hot and this is a new trend.  I'm not sure that I am sold just quite yet on the marbleized look but keep your eyes out, you may start seeing it!  Btw, I like the table in the picture but it's the wall that I'm not sure about.

My most recent client needed to change a house to make it work better for her mother.  Below is the design that they decided on.  I absolutely love to see my clients so excited and happy with the results.  They never dreamed the room could look they way it does.  The best part is, that as a Realtor in Phoenix, Arizona, I know that the house will sell much easier for them down the road if it ever becomes an option.  Check out the new and improved spacious bedroom, walk-in closet and spacious bathroom with walk-in shower.

Is your space "Shabby" or "Shabby Chic"?

Make sure when your re-purposing or using items that are worn, weathered, antique or otherwise don't look new,  that your pairing it with items that keep your space feeling fresh and clean.  Without "Chic" complimenting your design, all your left with is "Shabby" and shabby doesn't sell.
